It seems that my porch at the apartment gets an incredible amount of sunlight as noticed when I got to go home for a bit because the office building next to us killed the power due to it catching its HVAC system and the local transformer on fire.

I'm so Vegetable Gardening this spring/summer.

Christmas came early for me. I got a Creative Zen MP3 player over the weekend, and today I got the first episode of Macross Frontier. Going to need to download a better sub though. Got to wait another 4 months until the rest of the series starts.

I am in heaven.

It's been a long day, and very tiring physically, mentally, and emotionally. I don't want to go through it at the moment. Right now I think I am going to retire (ie sleep) for a bunch. I am sorry ot those all I missed on contacting. That and I think months of not sleeping go to me. I will talk to everyone tomorrow.

For those interested in the Star Wars: Expanded Universe (the comics, the novels, and the Clone Wars cartoon), Sideshow Collectables is conducting a poll. Their poll focuses on 6 characters from the expanded universe to make 12" figures out of.

So I am sitting here minding my own business, playing a little KOTOR (great RPG so far), when I start to hear water running from the bathroom. I was like "Huh, that's wierd. I though the water was off." So I pause the game (great idea, allowing to pause in battles) and check it out. There was water everywhere. It was coming from a bubble of water created by water getting trapped behind the paint, and from the ceiling itself.

So I made it drain into the shower, and went upstairs to ask them what was going on. The neighbors said it happens to them too from the people above them, and gave me maintences number. I called them, and they said they would be out tomorrow to check on it.

It was just wierd.

I know it is late, but I am thankful for my relationship, my friends, my family, my current situation, my life in general, and games. For without all these, my life would be mean very little.

So as I was reading Insert Credit today, I came across an article about Czech doujin shooter. The details of the game did not make me jump to get the demo, but I was intrigued by the music choice. They chose to get the band Machinae Supremacy (Website: http://www.machinaesupremacy.com/ ) to do the tracks for the game. So I downloaded the sample track on IC, and proceeded to listen to it. It's awesome. It reminds me a lot of Nightwish, but with a lot of different mediums used. They even use game samples, which is neatly intertwined.

My part of the connection seems to be wigging out. So if at anytime it looks like I am not online anymore, it is probably that. God, I love waking up to tech problems.

Everything would have gone better, if this candidate had taken office. At least the world would be safe from stuff

On a more personal, health note, I have pink eye in both my eyes now (as opposed to just one eye yesterday) and they have become sensitive to light. Meaning this post was probably the most excruciating thing today besides attempting to go outside. I think the bastard sun flash fired my retinas >_<  I got medicine for them, so hopefully they will calm down.

I was just really busy in the month of August. Here's what has been going down.

- Maria flew in on the last week of July. She was here for about 5 weeks. It was a great time. She played a lot of games while here. She ended up finishing Final Fantasy X, Xenosaga (again) and almost finished X-2.

- Otakon 2004(July 31-1): Other than the pain and the hotel it was fun. (had a post about this already)

- Working and living in Laurel. Definitely a different living situation.

- Royal Caribbean Cruise: Grandeur of the Seas (August 15 - August 22): It was a 7-day cruise that the family, Maria, and Amy's friend went on for my father's 50th birthday. Spent two of those days at sea, a day at Freeport, Bahamas (walking around), a day at Key West, FL (walking around, Margarittaville, and the Mel Fisher Museum), Coco Cay, Bahamas (a island owned by Royal Caribbean; went Kayaking for the first time), and a final day at Port Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center). Other than getting horribly sun burnt, it was fun.

- Getting ready for school. I went book shopping today. I got almost all my books except one Japanese textbook, and it is the textbook we use in classes. It is coming by UPS, and should be here in the middle of the week.

That's really all. Back to regular updates, I guess.

So...helped Mike fix his computer...which led to mine crashing.

One word describes this moment....but it is too harsh to say here.

So, I moved this weekend. That's all.

In one week I will officially be living on the Western shore. I move into the apartment on Friday, July 16th. Mike will have been there for two days already, so I am sure everything will go smooth. I have to go up there this weekend to sign my portion of the lease, and pay my portion of the prorate rent. (So anybody who lives over there, what are you doing this Saturday during the day?)

I got stuff for my Kusanagi costume today. The shirt fits well, but I have to return the pants. They coould have fit me from 6 months ago. All I need to do is pick up the black gloves, and dye my hair (if I can get a definate on whether his hair is black or not...or just dark brown.). Other than that, It's pretty much secure.
